Tea - Illustration Friday

I have always loved children's songs, especially ones in which we can dance around with while singing and being silly. When I learned that this week's theme for Illustration Friday was "tea," I immediately thought of the tune, "I'm a Little Teapot." Click on the image to see it larger!

This is so cute. I think you're a a bit of a roll here with children[s songs...last week and now this. I love the personality of your teapot. It reminds me of looney toons characters from my childhood. Good job! P.S. -thanks for your kind wishes on my upcoming show:>

T---another job well done....I was hoping for olde English tea so I'd have an excuse to redo the whole kitchen around one of your illustrations. But this is cute! Your shadowing has me in awe of your graphic arts gene!!!

Hey, wonderful posts... this one and the 'song' one. Great expressions and colors on the 'tea'... The spider song is one of the earliest songs I remember (along with 'Twinkle, twinkle). I remember feeling sorry for the spider getting washed out... I like the flummuxed (sp?) look on his face. Cool.

I am not familiar with that tune, but I can immediately picture the dancing around silly to a kling and klong- rhythm. There is something very positive about it, oh, or is it the blog :)
